The Ripple Effect of Grace
OPENING PRAYER:
Merciful Father, let Your grace flow through us, creating ripples of transformation in the lives of those we touch. May our actions reflect Your love and bring glory to Your name.
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."
Matthew 5:16 (NIV)
REFLECT:
Pastor Carter’s message concluded with a powerful reminder of the ripple effect that occurs when we engage with others as Jesus did. When we notice, listen, and ask questions, we create opportunities for God’s grace to flow through us, impacting not just individuals, but entire communities.
The transformation of Nate and Heath, as shared in Todd’s message, illustrates how one act of noticing or listening can lead to a cascade of grace. Nate’s story didn’t end with his own healing; it extended to his family and beyond. Similarly, Heath’s journey of faith began with someone who chose to listen and understand, leading to a life of purpose and service.
As followers of Christ, we are called to be conduits of His grace, allowing His love to ripple through our lives and into the world. By living intentionally and engaging with others as Jesus did, we participate in the unfolding of God’s kingdom, bringing hope and healing to those around us.
APPLY:

I WILL STATEMENT:
I will discover someone's story this week by noticing, listening, or asking them a question. Reflect on how your noticing or listening can create a ripple effect of grace in your community. What questions could you ask that could be impactful and glorify God?
CLOSING PRAYER:
Gracious God, thank You for the privilege of being part of Your work in the world. Use us to spread Your love and grace, creating ripples of transformation that bring glory to Your name. Amen.
