A close friend of the Family's son moved to Alaska for a job, it's his first time away from home. He made it there without issue. Once there when he arrive at the place he was going to temporarlly stay, the woman he was going to room with was drunk and belergent. He tried to calm her and she shot him at least 4 times. He has multiple surgeries ahead of him and months of recovery time. Please pray for Jennifer, her son Cody and the rest of the family as they deal with this unexpected situation.

I'm about a month out of Hutchinson Correctional Facility after 18 months on a parole violation. I've been on a steady hunt for work and have a few possibilities in the works. She’s 50, down to 80lbs, and using a walker. Her doctor won’t treat until they have a diagnosis. Shannon is hard-hearted toward God. Please pray with expectant hope for a diagnosis on Oct 17th. Update: I have realized that I for sure need to keep loving my brother and praying for him daily! A very close friend of his is helping him to get some counseling. He seems positive and he knows that I love him. I also told him how much I was praying for him.. even though he may not want to hear it. The friend who is helping him and who has known him for a long time is a close follower of Christ!! I know there is always a way. And I won’t give up believing for miracles. Thank you for prayer.

My aortic valve has severely deteriorated since December and continues to worsen. Test results and imaging have been sent to a surgeon in Houston, but my cardiologist is concerned there may not be an option available. Even if there is, I’m not entirely certain I’m ready for another 10-12 years of suffering. I’ve been disabled for 18 years and pain controls my life. It’ll only get worse over time. I’m considering whether or not to let God call me home, pending the call from Houston.
